“Maybe you are searching among the branches for what only appears in the roots”
Master’s Level Intern:
Hello, I’m Brittnay Cureton . My goal as a therapist is to help people find the support and direction they need to deal with the obstacles that life throws at them. I truly appreciate the bravery it takes to ask for help, along with wanting you to know that you're never alone during this journey.
I try to provide a sanctuary of safety and support where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences using a compassionate and judgment-free approach. My desire to fully grasp the complexities of the human mind and behavior has prompted me to pursue a career in counseling. My pursuit of a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the respected The Chicago School of Professional Psychology demonstrates my dedication to lifelong learning. I'm committed to providing you with the most effective care I can, which is why I stay up to date on the most recent research and therapy approaches. I'm here to support you on your path to healing and self-discovery with warmth and care.
On a Personal Note:
Due to my military association, my life's path has taken me from North Carolina to Tennessee. I am the spouse of an active-duty soldier and a veteran of the Army, two life experiences that have profoundly influenced my direction. My heart finds comfort outside of work in savoring time with my family. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, thrifting, reading, gardening, time spent with close companions, and traveling domestically or abroad.
