We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.

Master’s Level Intern:

I have experience in a diverse range of psychological concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. With a client-centered approach, I create an environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported. Drawing from cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and psychodynamic modalities to meet client's individual needs

As a dedicated veteran with over 14 years of personal experience within this community, I bring a profound understanding of its culture and lifestyle. Holding a master's degree in clinical expertise, I have extended my impact by working with adolescents in underserved communities.

Recognizing the importance of connecting with others who can truly relate and meet us where we are, I am committed to establishing a robust therapeutic alliance with my clients. Through fostering a collaborative approach to treatment, I empower clients to take the reins, exploring and addressing all of their concerns.

My professional journey, spanning from law enforcement to healthcare and culminating in mental healthcare, reflects a deep-seated desire to enhance the lives of others. I empathize with the feelings of being lost, hopeless, and in need of guidance or simply someone to confide in.

I firmly believe that no individual should endure suffering in silence, which is why I am here to help you navigate every therapeutic corner. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet with you and embark on this transformative journey together!

On A Personal Note:

I originate from the quaint town of Russellville, KY, and my journey brought me to North Carolina in 2006 as a military spouse. Joining the Air Force in 2009 led me to stations in Illinois, experiences in Germany, and a deployment to Iraq in 2010. After fulfilling my military obligations, I transitioned to Tennessee in 2012, marking the beginning of my path in the helping profession.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I find delight in diverse interests such as immersing myself in true crime and reality television, expressing creativity through painting, exploring new destinations during travels, and savoring moments with friends and family. Adding to the richness of my life are my two Border Collies, who bring energy and companionship to my daily routines.
