It’s during our darkest moments that we’re challenged to find our light.

What does it really mean to be okay? Does it look like a life marked by success and accompanied with loneliness or a life determined by failure joined with pure happiness? All people are susceptible to pain, brokenness, hopelessness, and loss. With that being said, all people are also capable of creating positive change and worthy of deserving peace, hope, satisfaction, grace and more. It all goes back to how you choose to view the world/your circumstances, make sense of it all, and find meaning both through it and beyond it.

Are the ways you view your world crippling you or propelling you into the person you want to become in order to achieve the life you’re wanting to live? We’ve all got one shot at life, and I believe in making the absolute most of it by choosing every day to seek purpose, find joy, and experience life to the fullest. Life isn’t easy and asking for help can be one of the most challenging tasks. Although challenging, this work is rewarding and matters because it offers people the chance to seek help and redirect their lives onto a path that they truly desire.

Through my work, I hope to encourage change, explore challenging adversity, provide safety and comfort, inspire authenticity, manifest curiosity and adventure, and remain true to my nature of serving others in a way that best meets their needs. I strive to cultivate lasting positive change by providing a welcoming and non-judgemental environment in which you are given the opportunity to explore yourself and develop a strong sense of life’s purpose and meaning through a consistent and effective therapeutic relationship. You matter, and you deserve to live your life to your greatest desires and potential, and it’s my job to walk alongside you in this process of navigating the one life you have been given.

A Little Bit About Me

I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN. If I am not in the office, I am most likely at a coffee

shop, working with my softball players giving private lessons, or joy riding somewhere on the back roads of Clarksville. I also love spending time in nature, learning and living through my faith, taking care of my animals, and occasionally taking painting classes. Something fun about me is that I am fascinated by flowers, and I find a lot of joy in making bouquets and arrangements when I get the chance.

I am a Master’s level therapist currently working towards my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Austin Peay State University. In regards to my previous education, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Studies at Union University.

Speciality

Although I have yet to experience many of the aspects this field has to offer, I am confident in my passion for working with sports health, childhood trauma, anxiety and depression, as well as ages varying from childhood to early adulthood. As a current master’s-level student, I am studying Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
