Makyla Burnam
Intern
Hi, I’m Makyla, a graduate student working toward my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University. I’m passionate about promoting healthy relationships and personal well-being. I believe everyone’s story has meaning, and I’m here to understand yours and support you in becoming the healthiest version of yourself.
We’re all shaped by the systems we’re part of, whether within families, relationships, or within ourselves. These systems affect our physical, emotional, mental, and social health. My goal is to help you process these influences and gain clarity.
I’m committed to working with couples, families, and individuals to build healthier patterns, behaviors, and coping skills while fostering a sense of security and confidence. As a student intern, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you can explore, grow, and develop tools to manage life’s challenges and enhance your overall well-being.
On a Personal Note:
I have a deep love for music, dance, and art—creative expression is an essential part of my self-care routine.
