Tara Manor

Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.
— Wayne Dyer

Hello, my name is Tara Manor. As a therapist, I realize that life comes with many changes and challenges, and I aim to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go. Unfortunately, we are not born with a “how-to” map for living our best life, and my goal is to create a warm environment, show unconditional positive regard for you and your situation, provide support and tools, and discover what does or does not fit your lifestyle. You decide the goals and changes you want to make, and as your counselor, I will support you through your darkest nights and brightest days.

Healing is a multi-faceted endeavor; what works best for you depends on your unique needs, and because of this, I take an integrative approach to counseling. I will collaborate with you to provide the utmost individualized care using interventions and modalities best suited for you to bring about long-lasting positive change. As a current master’s student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Austin Peay University, I am dedicated to lifelong learning and utilizing the many skills I have acquired to provide you with the utmost care.

On a Personal Note: I grew up in Nashville, TN, with four sisters and one brother before moving to Clarksville in 1996. I am married with two incredible adult children. I have been helping people manage stress as a massage therapist for over 20 years. My hobbies include meditative practices, yoga, Qi-Gong, and making various types of herbal teas.
